On Christmas Eve, 2004, Galveston was given a wonderful gift from Mother Nature. It began snowing around 9:30pm and continued all through the night. Galvestonians and visitors woke up to a Magical Victorian Christmas. This was the first time in history that it has snowed on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in Galveston!! It had not snowed in Galveston since 1989.
